History of BH Fitness

Beistegui Hermanos S.A, BH, was established in 1909 as a famous ammunition manufacturer in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain. During World War I, BH gained metal processing experience and it entered the industry of fitness in 1919 by developing the outdoor bicycle. The first complete series of fitness equipment was released in 1975. To meet the increasing demand for fitness equipment, BH founded Exercycle S.A., an individual business component, in 1985. Exercycle S.A. was in charge of the manufacturing and export of the fitness equipment. BH Group continued to grow throughout the 1990s and into the new century. The second factory, BH Exercycle de Mexico, was established in Mexico in 1992. There are now three manufacturing facilities located in Mexico, Portugal, and Spain. And subsidiary companies located in China, France, Germany, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and the United States.
